Scott Lewis provides dance photography services for non-profit dance organizations and schools in the Chicago area. His work has been featured in local newspapers, CBS Chicago’s Capture My Chicago project, WTTW’s Fear No Art, Chicago Parent magazine, TimeOut Chicago Kids, and Dance Studio Life magazine, along with numerous marketing and advertising materials.
While most professional photographers disdain providing free services, Scott sees this as his contribution to the dance community. Smaller organizations can benefit from professional quality images to promote their groups without paying the premiums for a photographer that specializes in dance and without relying on inexperienced parents and volunteers. He only asks for an honest critique of his work — a dancer’s opinion may (and probably will) greatly vary from that of another photographer.
Whether it is on stage, or in the rehearsal studio — Scott will do his best to make your dancers look their best.
